We learned on Wednesday afternoon that head football coach Mike Norvell stated that wide receiver Destyn Hill was out for the 2024 season with an injury. As we alluded to in an article, this devastating injury is a blow to the wide receiver's depth.

This stinks due to the former four-star prospect being a player that the Seminole fan base wants to see emerge as a heavy contributor. It seems like it was a depressing day of updates for Norvell in terms of injuries.

However, he did state that potential starters such as wide receiver Malik Benson and offensive lineman TJ Ferguson should be back for the start of the season. Unfortunately, it looks like Florida State gets the short end of the stick with bad news. Most notably, when the College Football Playoff did not include the Seminoles in last year's playoff.
