Florida State football is doing well on the recruiting trail with eleven commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. The Seminoles have the 23rd-best recruiting class according to 247Sports' Composite rankings. The following prospects have said "yes" to the program:

Five-star IOL Solomon Thomas

Four-star QB Tramell Jones Jr.

Four-star WR CJ Wiley

Four-star TE Chase Loftin

Four-star IOL Peyton Joseph

Four-star DT Kevin Wynn

Four-star DT Myron Charles

Four-star DE Javion Hilson

Four-star LB Ethan Pritchard

Four-star CB Gregory Thomas

Three-star S Max Redmon

Fans have seen the Seminoles' coaching staff flex its muscles when it comes to acquiring blue-chip talent on the recruiting trail. It has become easier since Florida State has started to showcase its winning ways after accomplishing an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023.

However, the job is never finished in recruiting. It requires 24/7 attention and resources. Recruiting can be ever-changing because it requires teenagers to make some of the most difficult decisions in their lifetimes. I highlighted some prospects that are considered realistic in this recruiting with a previous article, be sure to click here to view it.

Plot twist, four-star safety Ladarian Clardy was included on that list. Don't worry... I am not telling you the rest of the prospects, that would ruin the fun!

As it relates to Clardy, he announced on Friday that he has set his commitment date for August 3rd between schools such as Florida State, Ole Miss, UCF, Washington, and Mississippi State.

The four-star safety from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida officially visited the Seminoles on the weekend of June 7th. It seemed to have went very well since Clardy has a crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State.

While the Seminoles do have two defensive backs committed to the fold in four-star cornerback Gregory Thomas and three-star safety Max Redmon, this does not impact the recruiting of Clardy. It is surprising to see the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes not included in the list since he was scheduled to visit there on July 27th.
