Florida State's baseball program defeated the Virginia Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon as they are surviving and advancing in Omaha and looking to secure their first national championship in program history.

It was not easy to overcome the Tennessee walk-off loss as some individuals within the Seminole fan base were thinking that this could be a spot where Florida State would get down on themselves and end up losing.

However, that was not the case as Florida State went on to defeat the Cavaliers by a score of 7-3. The four-run fifth inning played a role in the Seminoles' victory not to mention that slugger Jaime Ferrer blasted two home runs in the game.

Florida State displayed the Seminoles' "Unconquered Spirit" time and time again on Sunday. It even caught the attention of head football coach Mike Norvell who responded on Twitter (X) about the performance.

Heading into his fifth season, Norvell has had to respond to some tumultuous moments during his tenure but he has overcome the odds time and time again.

I want to highlight three instances where Norvell's teams have responded to adversity.
