FSU football had a fantastic 2023 season where it accomplished several positive aspects as a program where it went undefeated in the regular season and secured an ACC Championship. When though the College Football Playoff committee did not allow the Seminoles to compete for a championship, fans should be thankful for last year's squad and what they meant to the university.

To add to that perspective, the Seminoles have a proud history filled with championship-level success. The program has accumulated three national championships in the past 31 years, which is more than a lot of teams can say about themselves.

Florida State had several contributors that were special The coaching staff acquired over fifteen transfers this offseason. A notable transfer that could be one of the more important pieces is quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.

On3 interviewed Uiagalelei asking him about his ultimate goals at Florida State. The veteran understands what the reality is with the Seminoles when he committed (and later signed with the program). As he was going through the recruitment process, he knew early on that he wanted to be a Florida State Seminole.

The program itself has been through a ton of adversity throughout the last couple of years, especially when head football coach Mike Norvell took over. Florida State was only able to win eight games in the first two seasons. However, he has accomplished bringing the program to national relevancy with a combined record of 23-4 in 2022 and 2023.

The College Football Playoff committee's decision from December will forever haunt Seminole fans and players. However, there is nothing that they can do now to go back and change the decision that was made.

With that being said like Uiagalelei stated in the interview, Florida State has high expectations as a football program. It starts with the former Clemson and Oregon State quarterback transfer being a viable playmaker in the offense.
