FSU OL commit Solomon Thomas received five-star ranking from Rivals
Florida State fans understand that the Seminoles' 2025 recruiting class has a firm foundation where it has quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, defensive end Javion Hilson, and linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
The coaching staff is certainly preparing itself for a legendary haul as the Seminoles continue to ascend on the field with their winning ways. Currently, Florida State is 23-4 in their last two seasons and they don't show any signs of letting up.
While the Seminoles rank as the 15th-best recruiting class, the coaching staff has done well with evaluating the talent early on that they have in the fold. On Monday, offensive lineman commit Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida has been granted a five-star ranking by Rivals.
In their new rankings, Thomas is listed as the 18th-best prospect in the 2025 cycle. Rivals also classify him as an offensive guard, which is where I believe that he will be utilized at Florida State if he decides to stick with his commitment.
Overall, offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has done a tremendous job with recruiting the Jacksonville native. It would be wonderful to see the Seminoles be able to hang on to his services.
Thomas has been to multiple camp events which allows the individuals to see him in person to rate his skillset. About two weeks ago, the offensive lineman attended the Under Armour Next Camp Series where he was one of the best linemen in attendance. He was awarded an Under Armour All-America Game invitation.
The five-star prospect has been committed to the Seminoles since December 22nd. He has been very transparent with his pledge to Florida State. The Seminoles were one of his first-ever offers back on June 8, 2022. The interest to the university has been mutual ever since.
