FSU football has done a solid job of constructing the future foundation of their program with highly-touted 2024 recruits. The Seminoles have already landed pledges from five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

Speaking of Thomas, he is back in Tallahassee for their Junior Day event. The Raines High School standout has been committed to the Seminoles since December 22nd.

He is currently the only offensive lineman that is pledged to the program. However, offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has consistently recruited at a high level. It is a matter of time before Atkins lands another prospect. Some services have Thomas listed as an offensive tackle and some have him as an interior offensive lineman.

I truly envision him ending up in the interior of the offensive line. However, his frame at 6'4" and 315 pounds could be utilized at offensive tackle as well. Florida State has been known to pursue offensive linemen who are versatile with playing multiple positions.

Florida State has had multiple highly-touted prospects during their Junior Day events, it only helps that Thomas is there to put his recruit hat on for the Seminoles. The talented offensive lineman even talked about how he had loved Florida State for a long period and knew that it was where he wanted to go.

Florida State has several high-caliber offensive lineman targets that they are pursuing such as four-star Lamar Williams, four-star Cortez Smith, four-star Ziyare Addison, four-star Peyton Joseph, four-star Mario Nash Jr., and four-star Max Buchanan.

Overall, it is wonderful to see Thomas in Tallahassee. The 2025 recruiting class acquisitions are just starting to heat up for Florida State as they look to build momentum heading into the Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase.
