Florida State football had a heartbreaking loss to Georgia Tech for their season opener in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday afternoon. The Seminoles are trying to bounce back as they welcome Boston College to the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium on Labor Day night at 7:30 PM EST on ESPN.

Florida State will try to do whatever it takes to correct their wrongs from the season opener. Head football coach Mike Norvell previously stated that the result of the last game was on his shoulder and he took the blame.

I realize that the Seminole fan base is a bit disappointed as Florida State was projected to win the conference in the preseason especially after they finished with an undefeated regular season and a conference championship last season.

In this article, I want to turn the attention to something more positive-minded. Florida State's fans expressed their frustrations last year when they decided to remove the garnet endzones in Doak Campbell Stadium where they were grass endzones.

It makes the stadium look dull at times. I do not care about the garnet end zones heavily since I just want Florida State to win football games, it is a nice touch to the home environment.

This is a live look at Doak Campbell Stadium from the EarthCam view (from the renovations update). The stadium is getting prepared for Florida State's showdown versus Boston College. The renovations at Doak Campbell Stadium will be completed before the 2025 season opener versus Alabama.

I realize that fans are frustrated with the renovations because of the reduced stadium capacity for this season and future seasons as well. However, I hope that those individuals can be a little bit more happy when the garnet end zones hopefully make their debut.

In my opinion, I will believe it before I see it with the end zone colors. However, I will enjoy the Seminoles continuing to get better with each opportunity that they get.
