FSU football : Why transfer Shawn Murphy could be a game changer in 2024

FSU football filled a major need from the transfer portal when they got Alabama's Shawn Murphy to commit and enroll this spring. The Noles had one experienced linebacker on the roster, DJ Lundy, who withdrew from the transfer portal to finish what he started. On the surface, Murphy doesn't bring much production, which is something I thought the coaching staff would value more with portal players.
