AMAREE WILLIAMS

It is an unfortunate turn of events that Florida State was not able to get five-star Armondo Blount on the official visit this weekend before the Early Signing Period begins on December 20th. However, it seems as though the coaching staff have a plan in place for acquiring another defensive lineman.

While there is no way to sugarcoat the potential loss of Blount to an arch-rival, I am personally glad that the coaching staff has other plans in mind to counteract the situation.

247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong reported that Class of 2025 four-star defensive end target Amaree Williams from The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach (FL) will be reclassifying to the 2024 cycle and will be officially visiting Florida State this weekend.

With the Early Signing Period right around the corner, it is a good chance that Williams signs with the Seminoles if he elects to not take any more visits after Florida State.

This could be a monumental visit for the coaching staff as they look to turn the 6'4", 215-pound defender into something special.
