FSU football: Top 5 toughest games on 2024 schedule

FSU football will get its season underway later this month when they travel to Dublin, Ireland, to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Many people expect FSU to take a major step back after losing 10 players to the NFL Draft. However, oddsmakers and ACC media picked the Noles to finish first in the ACC. The Noles will be prohibitive betting favorites in nearly all of its games. Things could change based on early season results, but Notre Dame is the only game in which FSU is a betting underdog.

I'll do my wildly popular game-by-game season prediction piece in a couple of weeks, but I've been high on this 2024 team for a long time. I started comparing this team to the 2022 team months ago, and this team has more overall talent and overall depth. The floor for this team is likely 9-3, with a small chance for another undefeated regular season if they get some lucky breaks and avoid major injuries.
