FSU football: Three signees that could get meaningful reps in 2024
RB KAM DAVIS
What a great way to start this list than by recognizing the longest committed prospect in the Seminoles' recruiting class. Four-star running back Kameron Davis has been pledged to the program since February 25, 2021. When you talk about the word "loyalty", the talented running back certainly fits the description.
The Albany (GA) native had to play everywhere for his high school football team, even quarterback. When you approach him, it becomes apparent that he is an athletic specimen. The running back position has been kind to the Seminoles. Their offensive game plan is centered around being able to effectively run the football.
With redshirt junior Trey Benson declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft, redshirt sophomore CJ Campbell transferring to Florida Atlantic, and redshirt freshman Rodney currently in the transfer portal, someone will have to step up in a big way at the position.
I believe that Davis has what it takes to be a perfect complement to what redshirt sophomore Lawrance Toafili brings to the table. Running backs coach David Johnson is probably licking his chops at the opportunity to coach one of the most talented prospects that he has ever had at his position.
