Given the brutal ending to an amazing season, but FSU football got some wonderful news regarding next season. Top transfer Hawaiian native quarterback, DJ Uiagalelei officially announced his decision to play for the Florida State Seminoles in 2024. What an exciting way to kick off the new year!

The former Clemson and Oregon State athlete has a lot to bring to the table. With 2,638 yards, 21 touchdowns, only 7 interceptions, and an 80.6 QBR last season, Uiagalelei has the potential to be great. From his experience to his dual-threat ability, Uiagalelei will fit right in with Norvell's offensive scheme. Coach Mike Norvell has the opportunity to mold another athlete into a top-tier quarterback which will be fun to witness in the upcoming season. Just like with Jordan Travis, DJ Uiagalelei will likely benefit from Mike Norvell's guidance.

While many of the Seminoles players have declared for the NFL Draft, Florida State still has solid offensive playmakers returning including Lawrance Toafili and Ja'Khi Douglas as well as rising stars like Deuce Spann, Destyn Hill, and Hykeem Williams. Most of our offensive line is returning next season which also helps. Norvell will likely land other huge playmakers from the transfer portal as well. Overall, Uiagalelei will have plenty to work with in Norvell's arsenal.

Acquiring Uiagalelei is a massive step in Florida State's goals for next season including winning another ACC Championship and being a contender in the College Football Playoff which is finally expanding to 12 teams next season. As an experienced leader, Uiagalelei can definitely get us there. The sky is the limit for the transfer quarterback, and there is no other place to solidify his greatness than one of the biggest football dynasties in the country, Florida State.

Let's see how Nole Nation is reacting to the exciting news!
