FSU football: Noles lands a commitment from 2025 4-star OL Solomon Thomas
FSU football entered Friday afternoon with only two commitments in the 2025 recruiting cycle in four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
While I realize that the fan base is still frustrated with the ending of the 2024 recruiting class and probably are not worried about the future classes until pen meets paper, it would be massive to see the coaching staff acquire highly-touted prospects for the future foundation of the program.
It seems to be only a matter of time before the Seminoles are able to obtain more highly-touted prospects in the 2025 cycle, given that Florida State possess a 13-0 record this season and showcased a proof of concept on the football field.
On Friday afternoon, Class of 2025 four-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville (FL) made it official when he pledged to the Florida State Seminoles. This was a massive acquisition for offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Alex Atkins, who was the main recruiter for Thomas.
Florida State ranks as the 16th-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Jacksonville (FL) native had taken an unofficial visit with the Seminoles on October 21st when they took on the Duke Blue Devils. Florida State was one of the first offers that Thomas received back on June 8, 2022. He has always viewed the Seminoles as his top school. However, it was now finally time to make his official pledge for the program.
The offensive line target board is shaping up nicely for Atkins and company as the Seminoles are in a good position for highly-touted prospects such as four-star Ziyare Addison, four-star Payton Joseph, and three-star Max Buchanan.
It is great to see more talented offensive linemen potentially join the Seminoles' roster in the future.
