FSU football: 2025 4-star LB Ethan Pritchard commits to the Noles
FSU football enjoyed a fabulous victory over the No. 16 ranked Duke Blue Devils last night by a score of 38-20 in a packed-out Doak Campbell Stadium.
Speaking from someone who went to the game, FSU fans made the environment super loud. It was definitely the noisiest that it has been all season.
While Florida State has not played its best football this year, they have showcased a heightened level of response and just know how to win football games.
This coaching staff has emphasized that point to a variety of prospects that are mulling decisions, which involve the Seminoles. Nonetheless, FSU fans were wondering when the 7-0 start to the season (best since 2014) would translate to recruiting victories.
At the conclusion of the game, Class of 2025 four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida committed to Florida State.
A LINEBACKER!
Can you believe it?! Fans must be going wild. Linebacker recruiting is something that is always being talked about among the fanbase. Linebackers coach Randy Shannon has done a tremendous job in developing the current players such as Tatum Bethune, Kalen DeLoach, DJ Lundy, Omar Graham Jr., and Blake Nichelson.
Pritchard marks the first prospect at the position that has committed in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Seminoles already have two linebacker prospects committed in their 2024 class with three-stars Jayden Parrish and Timir Hickman-Collins.
The newest committment was in attendance for last night’s game. The linebacker had a tremendous 2022 season where he recorded 61 total tackles.
He has received offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida, Colorado, Miami, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. However, Pritchard elected to announce his intentions to commit to Florida State.
Disclaimer: This was the talented linebacker’s second visit to witness the Seminoles as he came down for an unofficial visit in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, September 3rd when Florida State defeated the LSU Tigers by a score of 45-24.
If Coach Shannon is able to keep Pritchard committed to the fold and be able to flip four-star Jadon Perlotte from the Georgia Bulldogs, it could get scary in Tallahassee.
