RB ROYDELL WILLIAMS

Florida State has to replicate the production it lost from do-it-all running back Trey Benson who recorded 1,800+ rushing yards and 23 touchdowns in the last two seasons in Tallahassee. The Arizona Cardinals selected Benson in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The coaching staff added a piece via the transfer portal in Alabama senior running back Roydell Williams. The veteran had 560 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns during the 2023 season with the Crimson Tide.

The Seminoles are not afraid to admit it. They want to establish the running game on offense. Florida State is welcoming in transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei who will be replacing the legendary Jordan Travis.

The coaching staff should be able to effectively run the football with Williams as the Georgia Tech defense allowed 221.3 rushing yards per game in 2023 (128th in the FBS). I expect there to be a heavy dose of Williams getting 12-15 valuable carries to help the Seminoles' offense.
