FSU football: 5 major reasons to trust Mike Norvell turns things around again

One of the biggest issues Mike Norvell had when he took over the FSU program was no options at quarterback. That's not the case for the future, with former four-star prospects Brock Glenn, Luke Kromenhoek, and Trevor Jackson on the roster. He also has 2025 blue-chip quarterback Tramell Jones committed and 2026 blue-chip quarterback Brady Smigiel committed. FSU has to retain the guys already on the roster and develop them. The plan was for DJ Uiagalelei to bridge the gap between this year and Brock Glenn or Luke Kromenhoek starting in 2025.
We've seen FSU lose two commitments in the last week and they'll need to keep Tramell Jones and Smigiel committed, though Jones has assured his commitment after getting injured in a high school football game recently. Teams with good quarterback play can hide a lot of warts and can help attract top talent. We saw Jordan Travis develop under Mike Norvell and that's something they can push at this position moving forward.
