Florida State football lost to Boston College by a score of 28-13 in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium. This is only the second time that the Seminoles lost to the Eagles in the last fourteen meetings.

It disappointed the Seminole faithful who made the trip to Tallahassee. They saw a squad that did not show much effort and was able to get outmatched by a Boston College team that welcomed in a brand new head football coach Bill O' Brien in their first game on the road.

Florida State had a similar result to Georgia Tech where they were ran out of the building. The game in Dublin, Ireland at least came down to a game-winning field goal. It seemed like the offensive effort was poor by a ton of individuals.

This is the reality of Florida State under the guidance of head football coach Mike Norvell in the fifth season at the helm. We went ahead and highlighted earlier why DJ Uiagalelei needs to be benched. In this article, I would like to focus on why he needs to continue to be the starting quarterback.
