FSU football has a lot of doubters going into the 2024 season. They are double-digit betting favorites over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and the trend seems to be for everyone to put FSU on upset alert. One common theme has been that FSU put all its eggs in the basket for 2023 and lost all of its talent in the 2024 NFL Draft. I've seen several people compare this FSU program to TCU. I get it, TCU used the transfer portal to make an improbable run in the 2022 College Football Playoff, making the National Championship game after beating Michigan in the playoffs. FSU got rolled by Georgia in the Orange Bowl last year. ESPN has their folks talking about FSU not deserving its top 10 preseason ranking and might not finish the season in the top 25. They fired Robert Griffin III after he made supportive posts on his social media account. The 2023 TCU team went 5-7 last season after playing in the National Title game. I assure you that FSU will not go 5-7 in 2024. In fact, the two programs couldn't have a bigger gap between them. Here are three reasons the 2024 FSU team isn't like the 2023 TCU team.
