Florida State football does not have many supporters with the program. ESPN analysts such as Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy have shown their displeasure with the Seminoles.

However, former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III showed his support for Florida State and the fact that they remained undefeated with a backup and third-string signal-caller and were still left out of the College Football Playoff on Tuesday afternoon.

Unfortunately, according to multiple reports, ESPN fired Griffin III on Thursday afternoon. Griffin III had an energetic personality on TV with his broadcasting. It is a shame that Seminole fans won't be able to enjoy the opportunity to hear the former quarterback call another Florida State touchdown on ESPN.

Individuals outside the program can say what they want about there not being an agenda toward Florida State with ESPN. The Seminoles are in a pending lawsuit with the ACC over the Grant of Rights that is in effect until 2036.

It seems like everyone is trying to make the Seminoles the punching bag of their conversations. However, head football coach Mike Norvell has made it known that he wants to keep the main message, the main message.

It looks like ESPN has no tolerance for their employees to make the Florida State Seminoles after their "shenanigans" and will fire any employees for not agreeing with their agenda (it is a joke- kinda). Griffin III's wife (Grete Griffin) graduated from Florida State. As a wise man once said: "Happy wife, happy life!"

Overall, Griffin III should be remembered by the Seminole fanbase as someone who took a stand for what was right in college football. Don't worry... I believe the talented media personality will be back on TV in no time.

Hopefully, FOX will hire him when Florida State moves to the Big Ten (*insert eyeball emoji*). In all seriousness, I wish Griffin III nothing but the best in the next chapter of his journey.
