FSU football had one of the worst offensive lines in college football when Mike Norvell arrived in December 2020. FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins has done a good job making the unit into a respectable unit and overall, one of the better units in the ACC. It has been a steady diet of guys from the transfer portal, and guys inherited from the Willie Taggart era. The latter guys had to start way before they were ready, and that's led to multiple players getting hurt, which hurts development from year to year.

However, it leads to some continuity since it's the same guys returning every ear. Maurice Smith, Darius Washington, and Robert Scott have been on the team forever and played a ton of snaps.
The expectations for the unit went unmet last season, but FSU brought in several key pieces that should help elevate their play. Plus, a couple of young guys are waiting for their opportunity to contribute. Here are three major questions about the offensive line going into spring camp.
