FSU football saw some of its most recognized players from last year's 13-0 ACC Championship team(since most of these players didn't play in the Orange Bowl loss) make their NFL debuts on Sunday with great individual success.

  • Jared Verse (LA Rams, No. 19 overall)
  • Keon Coleman (Buffalo Bills, No. 33 overall)
  • Braden Fiske (LA Rams, No. 39 overall)
  • Renardo Green (San Franciso 49ers, No. 64 overall)
  • Trey Benson (Arizona Cardinals, No. 66 overall)
  • Jarrian Jones (Jacksonville Jaguars, No. 96 overall)

Verse and Fiske were felt all night long by the Detroit Lions offensive line. Fiske had five tackles and one TFL, and Verse had four tackles and his first NFL Sack.

Keon Coleman had four receptions for 51 yards on five targets, leading all Buffalo receivers in a 34-28 win over Arizona.

Renardo Green will play on Monday night.

Trey Benson didn't get as many carries, playing second fiddle to veteran James Conner. However, he finished with three carries for 13 yards and one reception for five yards on his lone target.

Jarrian Jones had one tackle and some nice coverage on a big third-down stop against Tyreek Hill.

Johnny Wilson (No. 89) didn't make a reception and only had maybe one target, but was effective in the run blocking game just as he was at FSU.

Jordan Travis is still recovering from his injury, but wasn't expected to play for the New York Jets on Sunday. Jaheim Bell didn't record a reception in the New England Patriots win over the Cincinnati Bengals, and Tatum Bethune will make his NFL debut on Monday night with former teammate Renardo Green.
