FSU baseball (49-17) wrapped up its 2024 season as one of the top four teams in college baseball, just three wins away from that elusive national title. The team exceeded expectations with the best one-season turnaround in the country, doubling their wins and making the Men's College World Series, despite key injuries to its starting rotation for most of the season. They also played a difficult non-conference schedule, plus played in one of the top two conferences nationally. There's a lot to be proud of, but I get even more excited when thinking about the future possibilities.

The job Link Jarrett has done over the past two seasons is remarkable, and I only expect things to get better with the program re-establishing itself among the elite programs after several down years. Ultimately, the foundation set will allow Jarrett to attract better talent from the high school ranks and the transfer portal. While the 2024 roster had a few guys who will be highly coveted selections in the 2024 MLB Draft in a few weeks, there are still a lot of holes to fill. The MLB Draft will impact the current roster and some potential incoming guys. Here is my way too-early look at the 2024-25 roster and needs.
