FSU baseball: The anatomy of an ACC sweep over Notre Dame
Big Time Win

Pitching
Every FSU starting pitching went at least 5.2 innings. Cam Leiter and Conner Whittaker went 6.2, and Jamie Arnold went 5.2 innings. Those three starts shortened the game for the FSU bullpen, who only allowed one run all series. Here are the stats for FSU pitching:
- 27 innings
- 19 hits allowed (4 home runs, all solo shots)
- 7 walks
- 5 hit batters
- 34 strikeouts
- 9 earned runs allowed
Aside from the hit batters and maybe a 1-2 too many walks, it was an outstanding performance from the FSU pitching staff. Notre Dame didn't have an elite batting average or on-base percentage coming into the series, but they had hit many home runs. The ability to limit the home runs to solo shots was huge.
