FSU Should Be Well Rested Going into Super Regionals

FSU only played three games, didn't have to go into extra innings, and only trailed four five innings in those three games. They didn't have to play two games in one day like many teams. The bullpen didn't get taxed to death, and the FSU starting pitchers will have all week to recuperate from their outing over the weekend. Some teams have to play on Monday to see if they will advance to the Super Regionals.

FSU has the luxury of recovering and already scouting their potential opponent, which will be the winner of the No. 3 seed UConn/No. 1 seed Oklahoma game that will take place Monday at 9 p.m. ET. It will be Oklahoma's fifth game and UConn's fourth game in the regional. UConn had a chance to eliminate Oklahoma Sunday night, but the Sooner staved off elimination to force Monday night's game. No. 2 seed Duke was eliminated from that region. I like FSU's matchup with UConn or Oklahoma for a chance to reach the College World Series for the first time since 2019.
