FSU baseball (47-15) punched its ticket to the Men's College World Series for the first time since 2019 with a 10-8 extra-inning win over the UConn Huskies Saturday afternoon. It's been an incredible turnaround for a program that didn't make the postseason or play in the ACC Baseball Championship a year ago. The Noles haven't lost a game since entering regional play, defeating Stetson, UCF(twice), and UConn twice, displaying incredible balance on offense and defense.

Their play matched where they ranked going into the postseason as one of the most complete teams nationally. FSU has done a great job playing complimentary baseball and will need that to continue in Omaha. I discussed some major takeaways after FSU won its regional last week. Here we'll discuss four major takeaways from the Noles winning their Super Regional and advancing to Omaha.
