Final Thoughts

FSU goes into the game as a +140 betting underdog. That means if you bet $100, you'd win $140. A bettor would have to bet $180 to win $100 betting on Tennessee. FSU has played against good offensive teams that hit a lot of home runs, Florida comes to mind, and they've beaten them three times without Jamie Arnold on the mound. The difference is Tennessee has better pitching than Florida, way better pitching than Florida. I think Jamie Arnold can hold his own against this Tennessee offense.

The key will be keeping the bases clean and limiting the damage they can do with the home run. If he allows three solo home runs? However, three home runs with runners on base is a different story. The biggest question for me is which FSU offense will we see? The offense that tore UConn up or the offense that went dormant for long stretches in the Tallahassee Regionals? I believe Jamie Arnold will show up. If the offense does? FSU has a great shot to win their first game in Omaha.
