FSU football has already started to construct a legendary 2025 recruiting class, which ranks 12th in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Seminoles have secured pledges from five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

Florida State is looking to continue its positive momentum for this cycle. The coaching staff has increased acquiring blue-chip talent in Tallahassee.

As it pertains to recruiting, a position that Seminole fans are always discussing is linebackers. The linebacker recruiting has been somewhat underwhelming according to certain fans' standards. However, Florida State still has talented younger pieces in their current room with players such as Blake Nichelson, Omar Graham Jr., Shawn Murphy, and Justin Cryer.

With that being said, the Seminoles still have to replace the likes of redshirt seniors Tatum Bethune and Kalen DeLoach. It does help that redshirt junior DJ Lundy de-committed from Colorado and returned for his senior season in Tallahassee.

It is all about continuing to stack talent in the room. On Sunday morning, FSU fans might have gotten their wish as Class of 2025 four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup (GA) has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles from Noles247 Contributor Zach Blostein.

Wallace took an unofficial visit this weekend for Florida State's Junior Day event. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he is considered as the eighth-best linebacker in the 2025 cycle.

Linebackers coach Randy Shannon has been known to develop players at his position, but the recruiting itself has not shown itself. The Seminoles utilize the 4-2-5 defensive scheme so linebackers aren't as valuable in the system as they once were.

If the Seminoles could end up getting three talented linebackers in this recruiting cycle, it could be great for the future foundation of the program.
