FIVE-STAR WR JAIME FFRENCH JR.

Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell has been on a revenge tour versus the Alabama Crimson Tide as of late. For starters, the College Football Playoff Committee excluded the Seminoles from the "invitational playoff" after Florida State successfully had an undefeated regular season and an ACC Championship.

Unfortunately, the one-loss SEC champion Crimson Tide was selected over the Seminoles. Ironically, after legendary coach Nick Saban unexpectedly retired, the program wanted to pursue Norvell to replace him. However, he elected to stick with Florida State. Then Norvell decided to obtain five transfer prospects from their roster.

Florida State was also fortunate enough to flip former Alabama four-star defensive end commit Javion Hilson. The Seminoles could be in play for another talented playmaker with five-star wide receiver prospect Jaime Ffrench Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville (FL).

Ffrench Jr. de-committed from Alabama on January 14th. The first prospects that Norvell saw after he signed the new extension with Florida State were him and his teammate (four-star quarterback commit Trammell Jones Jr.). The Seminoles' coaching staff has continued to showcase high interest in the elite pass catcher.
