EA Sports release FSU defensive overall ranking for NCAA 25 video game
EA Sports has released the news that the College Football 25 video game will be released on July 19th (July 16th with early access). This video game series is highly anticipated since they haven't had it since 2013.

Florida State is ranked as an 88 overall defense in the video. I get that most of the general college football audience does not analyze the Seminoles like most of their fan base does, but it sure seems to be relatively fair. However, I will admit that there are some laughers in there.

Here is what myself and ChopChat's Kelvin Hunt think the offensive overall rating should be:
Taylor Devers: 89 OVR
Kelvin Hunt: 90+ OVR
These rankings are getting out of control, I know that these will generate a ton of discussion amongst individuals, which is perfectly understandable. However, there should be no reason on God's green Earth that USC should be No. 16, Colorado should be No. 20, and Florida should be No. 25.
That is almost like saying that Miami's home-field advantage should be top-25 in college football (don't worry, it isn't). The Florida State defense will have to replace pieces such as defensive end Jared Verse, defensive tackles Fabien Lovett Sr. and Braden Fiske, linebackers Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune, and defensive backs Renardo Green, Jarrian Jones, and Akeem Dent.
The Seminoles have talented pieces such as defensive ends Patrick Payton and Marvin Jones Jr., linebacker DJ Lundy, cornerback Azareye'h Thomas, and safety Shyheim Brown in their defense for 2024. This is a Florida State football team that is looking to prove a ton of doubters wrong.
This unit should be one of the top-10 defensive units in all of college football under the guidance of defensive coordinator Adam Fuller.
