HOW QB DJ UIAGALELEI LOOKS IN THE OFFENSE

Florida State's offense will primarily be down to two quarterbacks during Saturday's spring scrimmage as redshirt freshman Brock Glenn and true freshman Luke Kromenhoek are dealing with minor injuries and will be out for the remainder of spring.

As a result, the Seminoles are having to rely upon options such as DJ Uiagalelei and Trever Jackson. While I don't envision the preferred walk-on four-star prospect Trever Jackson to be a heavy contributor this season, I do expect transfer signal-caller DJ Uiagalelei to be the leader of this football team at the most important positions on the field.

Uiagalelei was acquired in the transfer portal after his previous stops at Clemson and Oregon State. The coaching staff wanted to effectively bridge the gaps with the younger options on the roster so that they can develop and be ready for the 2025 season.

Norvell has stated that Uiagalelei has started to grasp the offensive scheme better and has gotten more comfortable with displaying confidence as the spring has progressed. I cannot wait to see how he gels with the other wide receiver options on the roster.
