Florida State already has its quarterback of the future committed to its 2025 recruiting class in four-star Tramell Jones Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Just like previous signal-callers in the past that were acquired by the Seminoles, the program was able to grab the talented quarterbacks early on in the process. With that being said, it does not mean that Florida State will not secure another prospect at the position if the right fit presents itself.

On3's Jeremy Johnson reported that four-star Antwann Hill Jr. from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia will be unofficially visiting Florida State on Saturday, April 6th. Hill Jr. was previously committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado. However, he backed off of his pledge in November to re-evaluate his recruitment.

The top 100 prospect already has official visits lined up with Florida (May 31), Texas A&M (June 15), and Duke (June 23). However, it still leaves open the door for Florida State to get involved if they would like to compete for his services. It is noteworthy to mention that his high school teammate (four-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph) is committed to the Florida Gators.

This could be a situation where he could follow him to the Gators. However, in recruiting, package deals rarely turn in the team's favor. The prospects typically just commit to where they want to go rather than basing it on what a teammate wants.

This will mark the first visit of the spring for Hill Jr. This could be a pivotal trip to Tallahassee for the quarterback as the coaching staff looks to get its foot in the door with the recruitment. The Seminoles have not secured a pledge in their recruiting class since January when four-star defensive end Javion Hilson de-committed from Alabama. Could that change shortly for Florida State?
