Florida State football's 2025 recruiting class has several committed prospects that can help the program's foundation. The Seminoles might need all the help that they can get as Florida State was defeated by Georgia Tech by a score of 24-21 on Saturday afternoon.

The recruiting class is ranked 18th-best according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Prospects such as five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard are in the fold.

It was interesting to wonder what recruits thought about Saturday's loss. Would they treat it as if they were the solution to the problem? Would they want to come into a situation where it might be an uphill battle? Honestly, if the Seminoles can survive recruiting-wise after losing to FCS opponent Jacksonville State and starting the 2021 season with a 0-4 record, it can be overcome.

One recruit showcased his thoughts on social media in four-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. The offensive lineman was previously committed to the arch-rival Florida Gators before backing off his pledge and going all in with the Seminoles.

I did not know what to expect from recruits with Saturday's showing. I did not know if they would showcase disappointment, anger, frustration, loyalty, etc. However, Joseph's take seems to be optimistic.

In his post, he shows that he is prepared to stand by head football coach Mike Norvell and this football team. There is still a while before pen meets paper in December. If the season goes sideways (I don't wish that at all), it would be interesting to see which prospects stick around.

The recruits seem to express confidence in what Florida State football is doing long-term. The squad needs the fans' support more than ever now. I cannot wait to see how they respond versus Boston College on Labor Day night.
