4-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison continues to have Noles in top schools list

Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has been seen as one of the best recruiters on the Seminoles' coaching staff. One of the biggest targets is four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison from Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida.

We at ChopChat conducted a Q&A with Addison a while back and you could tell that the Seminoles meant a lot to him. He even alluded to the fact during an unofficial visit with Florida State that they were a top school for him in his recruitment.

On Thursday afternoon, Addison decided to release his top nine schools list on social media which included Florida State, Florida, Oregon, Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, and Stanford.

He has taken official visits recently with UCLA and Georgia. The Riverview (FL) native still has trips to Florida (May 31), Oregon (June 7), Penn State (June 14), and Florida State (June 21). It is great to see that he is saving the best for last with the Seminoles.

Addison decided to interview with Tyler Harden of TTJH Sports where he discussed each of the finalists on his top schools list.

Florida State took a chance early on in his recruitment process when he was only 240 pounds. You had to imagine that it did wonders for his confidence to have a school like the Seminoles believe in his ability even when the frame wasn't quite there yet.

It seems to be a common theme among recruits that they classify Florida State as a "family-like environment". Atkins seems to have the ball rolling with the prospects that he recruits. The Seminoles have got to prioritize Addison in this recruiting cycle as they have spent a ton of effort and resources on him. He would be a tremendous left tackle prospect for them.
