4-star IOL target Dontrell Glover sets his commitment date for the summer
Fans know how deadly Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins can be when he makes his presence felt on the recruiting trail. The Seminoles currently have one offensive lineman committed to their 2025 recruiting class in five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
Even though Thomas has taken visits to other schools and enjoyed the recruitment process, he remains pledged to Florida State at this time. This is not a moment of weakness for Atkins as he plans to add more talented pieces in the offensive trenches.
I talk about this in a recent article the targets to monitor on the offensive lineman. I also detail why I feel that this could be Atkins' largest recruiting haul at the position since he has arrived at Tallahassee. That is saying a lot since the 2022 cycle contained six offensive linemen.
One target to monitor is four-star interior offensive lineman target Dontrell Glover from Langston High School in Fairburn, Georgia. He has been a prospect that the Seminoles have coveted throughout the spring.
Glover de-committed from the Alabama Crimson Tide after legendary head football coach Nick Saban unexpectedly retired in January. As a result, the Seminoles decided to take it upon themselves to solidify a relationship.
During a spring visit with the Seminoles, Glover announced that Florida State was the number one school in his recruitment. This is massive considering that the Georgia native had only visited the program a handful of times.
On Sunday night, the talented offensive lineman went on social media and announced that he would be making his decision on July 1st between schools such as Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
It is worth mentioning that Glover will be officially visiting the Seminoles on their massive June 21st weekend and should be the last trip that he takes before making his decision. The talented offensive lineman currently has a crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State. Will the coaching staff be able to finish the deal on his recruitment?
