4-star DT target receives crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State
Florida State's 2025 recruiting class only has four prospects committed to the fold thus far with five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
However, the coaching staff looks to create positive momentum with several highly-touted prospects in the 2025 cycle. Even though it has not resulted in obtaining pledges at this time, it is still very important to create long-lasting relationships with the prospects as we have seen with several of the former prospects who didn't choose Florida State the first time around and then transferred to Tallahassee.
It is a very exciting time for the Seminoles as they have continued to generate success on the field with having a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons. Recruits are starting to trust what head football coach Mike Norvell and company have been preaching all along.
On Sunday afternoon, the good news continues as Class of 2025 four-star defensive tackle target Myron Charles from Port Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, Florida has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State from Noles247 Contributor Zach Blostein with a confidence level of 6 out of 10.
Charles visited Tallahassee for a Junior Day event in January. The defensive tackle visited the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes the following weekend, and it seems like he favored that visit more given the recent crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles.
While the Seminoles do have talented defensive tackle pieces on the team currently such as Darrell Jackson Jr., Joshua Farmer, Tomiwa Durojaiye, KJ Sampson, Daniel Lyons, and Grady Kelly, the depth will have to be replenished for the 2025 season.
There was a select group of fans who doubted the recruiting abilities of defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins. Even though Haggins isn't the most modern recruiter, he is still a great developer once that talent makes it to campus.
Charles would be an excellent addition to the 2025 class if he were to choose Florida State.
