Florida State's 2025 recruiting class currently only has four prospects committed to its fold. The Seminoles are trying to do its best with spring practice winding down and the Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase right around the corner on Saturday, April 20th in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium.

With spring practices happening in the afternoon, it does allow where high school recruits and coaches the opportunity to see how practices are being run. This is a more open policy compared to other programs across the country.

Florida State had a couple of notable prospects that took a trip to Tallahassee on Friday. One recruit that I discussed earlier in an article was Class of 2025 four-star Zion Grady from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Alabama. Fans know all too well about recruiting the state of Alabama prospects.

If we look at the 2024 recruiting cycle, twelve of the top twenty prospects in the state decided to sign with a program that was located in Alabama. Unfortunately, the Seminoles have taken their losses when it comes to recruiting prospects in that area such as defensive end Keldric Faulk and safety Red Morgan.

However, the coaching staff understands how pivotal the defensive end position can be since it largely impacts the ability of opposing offenses to move the football if their signal caller is consistently being harassed.

Grady is a top-fifty prospect who has scheduled official visits to Miami (May 31), Florida State (June 7), Auburn (June 10), Tennessee (June 14), and Georgia (June 21). The talented defender stated during his exit interview with a variety of media members that he plans to announce his commitment on July 4th.

The Bulldogs could be in the pole position to land his services, but it is great to see Florida State continue to pursue Grady, especially considering how they develop players at the defensive end.
