The Florida State Seminoles are currently ranked outside of the top-20 for the recruiting rankings with the 2025 cycle. They only have four committed prospects in the fold with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

However, it is only the month of April and the Seminoles have their Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase happening on Saturday, April 20th. This should allow the coaching staff to be able to build momentum with their recruits.

In the meantime, the current Seminoles players on the roster are conducting their practices as the program is looking to replicate their success from a season ago where they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship.

Unfortunately, the Orange Bowl loss to the Georgia Bulldogs stings since it happened in blowout fashion. With that being said, the coaching staff is prepared to move forward with the result and be in control of what they can control, which includes bringing in several highly-touted prospects to campus to build the future foundation of the program.

One prospect that should be monitored is four-star defensive end Zion Grady from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Alabama. The former Alabama commitment backed off his pledge after the legendary head football coach Nick Saban had unexpectedly retired. He is currently taking a visit today with Florida State to monitor their spring practice.

While I understand the concern of Grady being from the state of Alabama and how most of the prospect stay at home (*cough* Keldric Faulk *cough*), I do believe that the four-star defender is really interested in what head football coach Mike Norvell and company bring to the table.

There will need to be work done as programs such as Georgia and Miami are involved in the recruitment, Florida State is doing a nice job in getting him at least take unofficial visits on his own dime.
