4-star DB target Ladarian Clardy includes Noles in top schools list
Florida State football has one defensive back prospect committed to the fold for their 2025 recruiting class in four-star cornerback Gregory "Zae" Thomas from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Targets include four-star Ben Hanks Jr., four-star Jaboree Antoine, four-star Onis Konanbanny, four-star Jett White, four-star Jordan Young, four-star Bryce Fitzgerald, and three-star Max Redmon.
The coaching staff seeks to secure highly-touted prospects for the position room. One recruit to monitor is four-star safety Ladarian Clardy from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida.
Clardy released a top ten schools list on Saturday afternoon which included Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UCF, Miami, Michigan, Georgia, Colorado, and Washington.
Clardy officially visited schools such as UCF (May 31), Florida State (June 7), Mississippi State (June 14), and Ole Miss (June 21). The Pensacola (FL) native also has an official visit with the Miami Hurricanes on July 27th.
He even received a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles. He also has one for the Ole Miss Rebels. Since that point of the Florida State crystal ball, he has taken official visits to Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
The Rebels recently got four-star safety Cortez Thomas to commit to their program and four-star safety Keon Young is already in the fold. As for Mississippi State, they have two safety prospects in their class with three-stars Lo'Javion Johnson and Sekou Smith Jr.
Just so you know, UCF also has two four-star safeties in their class with Tony Williams (who FSU is still communicating with) and Kendarius Reddick. The arch-rival Miami Hurricanes could be a team to monitor for Clardy's services since they do not have a safety prospect committed in their class and he will be officially visited on July 27th.
Overall, Florida State needs to find a way to secure Clardy at some point in the month before he takes his visit to Coral Gables.
