FOUR-STAR DE JAKALEB FAULK

Florida State already has a pass-rushing commitment four-star defensive end Javion Hilson from Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida. However, the program would like to get two more defensive end prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

You can never have too many pass rushers. The position can have a direct impact on generating pressure on opposing quarterbacks to make the offense less than ideal.

Defensive end coach John Papuchis has done a nice job in being able to develop talent on the roster such as Jermaine Johnson II, Keir Thomas, Jared Verse, and Patrick Payton. However, the defensive end position has missed out on a couple of prospects in the last recruiting cycle.

One name that Seminoles know about was four-star defensive end prospect Keldric Faulk who flipped his commitment from Florida State to Auburn on Signing Day. It is disheartening to recruit prospects from the state of Alabama as of right now.

What comes around, comes back around. Faulk's younger brother (four-star defensive end JaKaleb Faulk) is currently committed to the Auburn Tigers and has an official visit with the Seminoles scheduled for the weekend of May 31st. While it might not seem like much, Florida State is at least giving itself a chance in the recruitment.
