FIVE-STAR WR JAIME FFRENCH JR.

Florida State currently does not have a wide receiver prospect committed to their recruiting class. The Seminoles do not have any playmakers to give their future foundation at quarterback. However, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans has continued to showcase his recruiting prowess.

Dugans acquired four wide receivers last recruiting cycle in four-stars Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore. Transfers such as Malik Benson (Alabama) and Jalen Brown (LSU) were also added.

Even with the pass-catching options, Florida State still wants to be active when it comes to recruiting for the position. One prospect to monitor is five-star Jaime Ffrench Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ffrench Jr. is a high school teammate with four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr. When head football coach Mike Norvell signed his contract extension with the Seminoles, he elected to visit Ffrench Jr. first. When the talented receiver de-committed from Alabama, there was optimism that he could potentially commit to Florida State.

However, Ffrench Jr. has unfortunately trended towards the Ohio State Buckeyes. Florida State needs to find a way to gain momentum in his recruitment again.
