Uniforms are a topic for a variety of college football fans. Some people use the phrase: "Look good, play good". Ohio State football made a social media post about their new all-black uniforms on Monday afternoon, and I must say that they look rather sharp.

Let me start by saying that the Garnet and Gold is one of the best color combinations in all of college football, even when Nike tried to screw up the Garnet color and make it almost look like purple. What a time to be alive for those debut 2014 uniforms. Those gold numbers were so difficult to see in the opener against Oklahoma State.
With that said, Florida State's uniforms are much better nowadays and are getting closer to the uniforms that everyone loved from the national championship season in 2013. Fans still want the old Seminole head logo back, though.
Beggars cannot be choosers, but Florida State is wearing more alternative combinations nowadays. Most fans are not supportive of this, but I know that the Seminoles are catering to the players and high schools/transfers that are interested in the school.
Will Florida State football wear an all-black uniform combination one day?
They did introduce the turquoise Seminole Heritage uniforms that still haven't made an appearance yet, after they teased the idea of wearing them twice. Nonetheless, Florida State did hype up the all-white uniform combination that included the brand-new white helmets. Fans still have PTSD from wearing them because it seems like something bad always happens when they do.
One uniform combination that we have not seen in action is an all-black uniform combination. Fans might have flashbacks to the Swag Surfing incident in 2018, when a sold-out Doak Campbell Stadium was there to watch Florida State play Virginia Tech in former head coach Willie Taggart's debut with the Seminoles.
The team was wearing an all-black uniform combination that day, as the Seminoles lost in embarrassing fashion by a score of 24-3.
Personally, I couldn't care less about the uniforms. Give me wins on the football field. That means more to me than the possibility of wearing new uniforms.
