Probably a waste of time and resources, but we'll see

Florida State football coaches have honed in on Florida and Georgia’s fertile recruiting grounds over the past few recruiting cycles. However, FSU has several new coaches on the staff with recruiting ties to their previous coaching positions. That’s the case with new FSU defensive end coach Nick Williams.

He previously coached at Syracuse and looks to lean on those previous recruiting relationships to land a big fish in the 2027 recruiting class. FSU offered blue-chip defensive end Abraham Sesay in December, shortly after Williams got hired, and it looks like they’ll get him on campus for a spring visit.

Sesay hails from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, an area where FSU hasn’t heavily recruited in the past. However, Sesay ranks as the No. 80 player and No. 10 EDGE nationally.

Florida doing what it has to do at a position of need. This will probably be a long shot, but at least he plans to visit

It’s a position I’ve mentioned that FSU needs to prioritize, and there’s a shortage of top-tier defensive ends in FSU’s backyard this recruiting cycle.

Sesay will reportedly visit FSU in late March for FSU's Legacy Weekend. That's when former players like Jameis Winston and Jermaine Johnson have come back to FSU to get recognized and potentially help with recruiting.

Sesay has an excellent frame at 6'5" and 215 pounds. He doesn't have any official visits set, but the goal is to get that set up after his visit in March. If he does that, then FSU may have a shot.
