Mike Norvell's chest wasn't pumped with confidence after latest loss like before

What happened to all that confidence about turning things around Mike?

Mike Norvell spoke with a lot of confidence after losing to Clemson on the road a few weeks ago. He was adamant he was going to turn FSU around and win championships because he won an ACC Championship at FSU, and he knows what it looks like.

Fast forward after beating a bad Virginia Tech team at home and going on the road to lose again against an NC State team that lost to that Virginia Tech team. Mike Norvell didn’t speak with the same confidence when talking to the media in the post-game press conference.

He looked like a man who knows he can’t turn it around. He looked like a man with no answers and no explanations as to why his team can’t put it together, despite having one of the most talented rosters in the ACC.

He admitted that what they have done hasn't been good enough, and that they are nowhere close to meeting expectations.

This FSU fanbase is absolutely done with Mike Norvell and his staff. They find new ways to embarrass themselves every other week. The Stanford loss was bad enough, but the NC State loss might have been even worse because there were no excuses about Thomas Castellanos playing hurt or traveling across the country to play in a different time zone late at night.

NC State had allowed 30+ points in every ACC game this year, and FSU managed to score 11 points. They can't execute in pressure situations, just like Mike Norvell can't get his team to play complementary football.

This interview is a man that knows he can't get it done, and it's time to make a change.
