FSU is going to get on a recruiting heater sooner or later, it happens every year. When it will happen in 2026 remains to be determined, but one guy that Mike Norvell would love to get in this class is top-100 edge rusher Abraham Sesay.

The Seminoles, led by new recruiting ace Nick Williams, have put themselves in a nice position for Sesay. The elite prospect from Pennsylvania has said FSU is among his top group of schools, joining Notre Dame, Miami, South Carolina and others. But there is an outside program that's trying to jump in on Sesay and could block the Seminoles from moving forward — LSU.

Sesay took a spring visit to LSU last weekend. He was in Tallahassee two weeks ago.

FSU is battling with heavy hitters for 4-star EDGE target Abraham Sesay

Sesay is a recruit that could potentially be a game changer for FSU. He is a top prospect at a major position of need. As previously pointed out, Norvell and staff are starting to make some good strides with recruiting on the defensive line and at edge rusher. They are investing more in young talent that can be nurtured and developed on the transfer market, where the prices for top pass rushers are climbing rapidly.

FSU still has to lock down an official visit for Sesay. I would say that Williams has put the Seminoles in a good position for one, but additional visits to schools outside of Williams' top group, like LSU, is an indicator that the NIL costs for a prospect of Sesay's caliber are going to be high. FSU has to stay competitive to remain in this race because you know Lane Kiffin is going to convince t

There will be more clarity in the coming days when Sesay starts disclosing his summer plans, but the push from the FSU staff to stay in this recruitment has to result in the Seminoles being part of those plans.
