Florida State finished its first day of spring camp on Monday, March 9th. The Seminoles have to change the narrative around the program after finishing with four losing seasons in six years under Mike Norvell's tenure. The fan base is already frustrated by not having a spring game, so they are looking for some positives.

The truth of the matter is that it is not the standard for a proud program like Florida State. The Seminoles want to compete for championships every year, and Coach Norvell should hold that same expectation for the roster.

The roster has talented pieces, even though some fans don't want to admit it and want to see Mike Norvell exit. This is understandable, given Norvell's position on the hot-seat list for many individuals.

Wide receiver Duce Robinson could lead the country in receiving yards for 2026

Wide receiver Duce Robinson could be a significant contributor to how the Seminoles perform in 2026. The former USC transfer has been regarded as a leader on the team. The 6'6" target didn't have to return to Tallahassee for his senior season, but he made fans more confident in the offense.

Robinson had over 1,000 yards last year and mentions that he has unfinished business in 2026. Spring camp is a good opportunity for him to develop chemistry with whoever lines up under center against New Mexico State in the season opener.

Florida State's social media team posted a highlight video of the Seminoles' first day of spring camp. This is something that the fan base can get excited about since Florida State will not be having its spring game this year, like the other programs around the country.

It is unknown who exactly threw the pass, but in the video, wide receiver Duce Robinson was able to overwhelm cornerback Charles Lester III, as he was able to convert on concentrating to catch the long pass attempt.

While this isn't a dig at the redshirt sophomore Lester III, this shows how good Duce Robinson is as a wide receiver. With head coach Mike Norvell in charge of calling plays, he could be showcasing the pass catcher in the offense.
