Florida State football doesn't have much to laugh about, as the Seminoles have struggled with consistency on the gridiron. Head coach Mike Norvell has a massive buyout, and the fan base is tired of losing games.
There has to be a way to get out of this mess. Florida State has only been able to muster together seven wins in two years, which is far from the standard that the legendary Bobby Bowden set for this program many moons ago.
However, the administration must have some type of confidence in him to keep Coach Norvell around. What is even more hilarious is that the Seminole fan base points to Miami coach Mario Cristobal's success with the Hurricanes this past year as they made it to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Indiana. The Hurricanes have not been relevant in years.
Florida State graduate and Georgia head coach Kirby Smart throws shots at Miami head coach Mario Cristobal
Miami has won the last two meetings against Florida State, which is frustrating to see. However, head coach Mike Norvell still holds a 3-2 advantage over Mario Cristobal. It is well noted that Cristobal can recruit with the best of them, but his teams always underperformed until this year.

As we know from word of mouth, the "great" Mario Cristobal doesn't negatively recruit against other coaches. However, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart (who is also a Florida State graduate) roasted Mario Cristobal for poaching players via NIL. You can look at the Miami situation with the Duke quarterback Darian Mensah.
Smart wasn't finished there, as he mentioned that Steve Spurrier has won more conference championships at Duke (won in 1989) than Cristobal has at Miami. Florida State fans are constantly discussing the Hurricanes' inability to win the conference, even though they have been in the ACC for twenty years.
