Florida State football did not finish the way that they wanted to during the 2024 season, as they collected a 2-10 record. However, there were two positives to build at the conclusion: The season was finally over and specialists Ryan Fitzgerald and Alex Mastromanno were the stars of the show.
The 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl located in Mobile, Alabama will be televised today (Saturday, February 1st) at 2:30 PM EST on the NFL Network. Three Seminole players will be making an appearance in the contest with defensive back Azareye'h Thomas, defensive tackle Joshua Farmer, and kicker Ryan Fitzgerald.
Thomas has been one of the standout players through the practices that everyone is talking about because of his frame and physicality. I knew that the defensive back would have turned heads to NFL teams due to his consistency on the field.
Then, defensive tackle Joshua Farmer showed flashes of dominance during practice. Some individuals thought that Farmer should have stayed around in Tallahassee for 2025, like Darrell Jackson Jr. However, he was the best defensive lineman in the Seminoles' position group last year. If Farmer can hone in his consistency and work ethic, he could be special.
I get that kickers don't get the love that they deserve. However, Seminole fans as well as individuals around the country should take notice of kicker Ryan Fitzgerald.

This is Fitzgerald's time to shine as he finished the 2024 season connecting on all of his 13 field goal attempts. He made 19 of his 21 field goals in 2023. Some of the fan base gave up on the talented kicker after his performance in 2022. Fitzgerald described his improvement as a result of switching from a three-step technique to a two-step technique.
I am excited to see him get potentially drafted in the upcoming NFL Draft. I know these former Seminole players are ready to ball out in the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl.
