Florida State softball moved to (41-7, 16-3 ACC) with a 4-0 shutout win on the road against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Jazzy Francik fired her second no-hitter of the year, and Isa Torres continues her magic at the plate, going 2-3 with two solo home runs for two RBI. Isa Torres led off the game with a solo home run, and that was all of the offense the Noles would need, and about all that they got.

Isa Torres is the best player in the country and it isn't close.
Florida State only had six hits, two walks, and struck out four times. Jaysoni Beachum had two hits, Bella Ruggerio had a hit and two RBI’s late to give FSU some insurance runs in the top of the sixth. Makenna Sturgis had a pinch hit in the top of the seventh to round out the hits.
Francik walked two and struck out one on only 89 pitches. She fell behind several batters, but managed to make some quality pitches and got a lot of quick outs to get through the game relatively quickly.
It was an important win for the Noles, as they look to keep pace with the Duke Blue Devils for the opportunity to win the ACC regular-season title.
A NO-NO FOR JAZZY‼️#Team43 pic.twitter.com/l0s9zR7dyt

The final out in the game may have cost the Noles a player, as second baseman Marin Heller charged a ball to field it and make a play at first, but she collided with the runner on first (a walk by Francik), and both players were down for a while. The Georgia Tech runner flipped in mid-air after it looked like she hit Heller with a knee in her side/midsection area. The runner was called out, which ended the game. It’ll be interesting to see if Heller is in the game on Saturday.
FSU will face Georgia Tech in game two on Saturday at 5 p.m. on the ACC Network.
