Florida State softball (32-4, 9-0 ACC) has the nation’s longest winning streak now that Oklahoma lost last week. The Noles have rattled off 21 consecutive wins and remain atop the ACC standings with a perfect 9-0 record.

Florida State will host a Notre Dame Softball team that’s under .500 overall and in ACC play. However, it should be noted that the Fighting Irish went on the road and won two of three against the No. 20 Stanford Cardinals a couple of weeks ago. It's a team that could catch a team who gets too comfortable slipping if they don't come correct.

Isa Torres will look to build on her .615 batting average that leads the nation, and she’ll face a Notre Dame pitching staff that’s allowed a lot of success to opposing batters.

Isa Torres and the FSU batters should put up some runs against the Fighting Irish this weekend.

FSU has used multiple arms in the circle this season, and the expectation is that it will continue this weekend. The Fighting Irish are not a great-hitting team, only hitting .281 in ACC play. Their pitchers have a 4.71 earned run average, and their fielding percentage is .964 in conference play.

FSU has nine hitters batting over .300 and the team on-base percentage is .453. FSU only strikes out an amazing 8.7 percent of its at-bats. Notre Dame pitches don't strikeout a ton of batters, so expect the trend of FSU putting the ball in play of getting a lot of walks to continue.

The Noles don't play Duke, Virginia, or Virginia Tech in the regular season and are in a prime position to secure the regular season title if they continue to play like they have been over the past few weeks.

The first game will be on Thursday due to Easter weekend. The game will start at 6 p.m. and will air on the ACCNX Channel.
