FSU softball (32-4, 9-0 ACC) won its 21st consecutive game with a 7-3 win over the Clemson Tigers to conclude an ACC series sweep. It was sweet revenge against the Tigers, who defeated the Noles in the ACC Tournament Final last season.
A familiar face led the Noles on Sunday. All-World shortstop Isa Torres came out of a mini-slump to hit two home runs. She hit a solo shot in the top of the third and a three-run bomb in the top of the sixth to put the game away.

That ball looked like a Tomahawk missle leaving the ballpark, as Isa Torres continues to add to her legend.
Anna Hinde got the Noles on the board with an RBI groundout and had another RBI in the top of the fifth. FSU played some excellent defense on Sunday, including two double plays by Marin Heller and Torres to help Jazzy Francik and Makenna Reid get out of trouble:

Makenna Reid retired eight straight batters before walking the leadoff batter in the bottom of the seventh and surrendering a two-run home run.
An error by Jaysoni Beachum put a runner on second with no outs, which prompted Lonni Alameda to bring in Ashtyn Danley to close the door.
Danley forced two groundballs that Isa Torres gobbled up for two quick outs, before the final out was a groundball to Marin Heller. It was the 1,000th win for FSU head coach Lonni Alameda!
